Welcome to Marble Home Design (marblehomedesign.com). By accessing our website, placing an order, or engaging with our custom stone manufacturing services, you agree to be bound by the following Terms of Service. Please read them carefully.

1. General Overview & Services

Marble Home Design specializes in custom handcrafted natural stone furnishings, including marble sinks, tables, fireplace mantels, and home decor. These terms apply to all visitors, buyers, and users of our store.

2. Natural Stone Characteristics & Custom Orders

All products offered are crafted from 100% natural marble, travertine, and stone materials.

Natural Variations: Color shades, veining patterns, and natural textures vary inherently from piece to piece. No two items are identical, and such natural stone variations are celebrated features, not manufacturing defects.
Custom Orders: Products manufactured according to customer-supplied dimensions or custom requests enter production after final payment and design approval.

3. Production & Shipping Protocols

Orders are fulfilled according to strict manufacturing and delivery protocols:

Production Time:
- Marble Sinks & Tables: 7 to 17 business days.
- Fireplace Mantels: 10 to 30 business days.
Shipping Standard: Default deliveries are fulfilled via Ocean Freight (25–40 business days). Express Air Freight (6–12 business days) is available upon request for an additional fee.
Packaging: All items are packed with shock-absorbing layers and encased in high-security wooden crates.

4. Freight Damaged Deliveries & Carrier Claim Policy

In the event that a shipment arrives damaged or broken during transit:

Carrier Claims: Claims, repairs, or reimbursements are governed by the formal investigation procedures of the freight shipping carrier.
Surrender of Goods: The buyer/recipient must surrender the broken item and original packaging to the shipping carrier’s inspection team upon request.
Mandatory Cooperation: The buyer must respond promptly to the shipping company’s outreach to schedule inspection or collection. Refusal or failure to cooperate will invalidate damage compensation claims.

5. Pricing, Taxes & Payment

Prices listed on the website are subject to change without prior notice.
Orders must be paid in full prior to the start of production.
Taxes and duties are handled based on specified terms during checkout (DDP/Duties Paid where applicable).

6. Limitation of Liability

Marble Home Design shall not be held liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from improper installation, misuse, or transit delays caused by third-party shipping carriers or customs authorities.
